Steel Shot Blasting After Vinyl Tile (VCT), Mastic, Quarry Tile, Carpet, or Epoxy Coatings Removal
Many of our projects require the removal of vinyl tile (VCT), mastic, quarry tile, carpet, or epoxy coatings prior to the steel shot blasting. Titus owns a 50 inch riding grinder for the removal of mastic on larger projects, and 20 hp concrete floor grinder, 7.5 hp concrete floor grinder, and 3 hp concrete floor grinders for small and mid sized projects (not to mention several 5 and 7 inch vacuum assisted hand grinders for edging concrete floors). Titus can perform mastic removal either wet or by dry vacuum assisted grinding.

Vinyl tile (VCT), quarry tile, and carpet are quickly and easily removed by Titus’ Blastrac® 270 tile remover. This is a 3000 lb, propane powered ride-on scraper that allows us to remove vinyl tile (VCT), quarry tile, and carpet very efficiently and economically.
